This week Year 7 learnt about Remembrance. We learnt why 11th November is a day of Remembrance and we developed our inference skills by using images from World War One. We created a display of stained-glass windows. We wrote letters home in the role of soldiers from the trenches. We observed the two-minute silence respectfully and watched the images from the rest of the UK. Sadly, this year we were unable to come together in assembly to learn about Remembrance Day. However, we really enjoyed our Remembrance Day walk around the school to look at the class window displays that had been created by each year group.
