This morning, we welcomed our Year 7 parents for a positive maths mindset and games Stay and See Workshop. A positive maths mindset is incredibly important because it shapes how you approach and engage with maths concepts. It also increases confidence, reduces math anxiety, improves problem-solving skills, helps understanding in real-life maths and it promotes persistence and resilience. We then took advantage of the good weather and completed a maths scavenger hunt based on the topic of time in the outdoor learning area.
