Highlights of Year 7: Year 7 is a busy and exciting year. As part of our transition programme we hope to be able to visit local post-primary schools where we take part in their lesson sampling activities. We welcome visitors from local post-primary schools to talk to our pupils and answer questions. During the summer term the pupils are engaged in a variety of lessons and activities to help them to prepare for moving to their new school in September.
We also take part in the Cycling Proficiency Scheme and Heartstart where the children learn emergency life support skills.
ICT plays a very important part in the teaching and learning throughout Year 7. We teach the children how to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly.
We hope you find Year 7 to be a fun filled and action packed experience.
